Introduction Second Symposium Keynote Speaker: Marc Valès

As the second keynote speaker on our symposium coming month, we are proud to present to you: Marc Valès, Space Programs Vice-President at Dassault Aviation.

Marc has been playing for thirty years with all elements of European launchers family – Ariane 1 to 6, Soyuz and Vega – both in launch vehicle and ground segments. Starting off as a test engineer, he has worked as system engineer, project manager, launch operation manager, head of production, strategy & business development manager and program manager.

 

In his current position, he is the space program director in military and space program directorate of Dassault Aviation, arriving from ArianeGroup where he was head of future programs, after strong involvement in the building up of this Airbus/Safran 50/50 joint venture. Marc contributed before to 2012 and 2014 European Space Councils preparations from French agency program directorate, alternatively working for national agencies and European industries, living in locales as different as New Caledonia, Guiana, Normandy, Toulouse, Rome and Paris.

Following childhood in Africa, Marc became an engineer from Institut Polytechnique, Grenoble in 1987, and completed the Master of Applied Mathematics, in Montpellier 1988. A proud EU citizen, who lived on 5 continents, Marc is highly motivated by our global world empowerment and innovation opportunities.
